Program Description

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Manatee County serves over 2,500 children at 6 locations in Manatee County. Our Clubs are open after-school and during the summer. Our programs focus on Character & Leadership Development, Sports, Fitness & Recreation, Education & Career Development, the Arts and Health & Life Skills. Hours of Operation


Summer hours 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM We are not open on official holidays. However, on non-school days, we are typically open from 7 AM to 6 PM and open at 12PM on early release days.
Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

Must be a child between the ages of 5 (have completed or attending Kindergarten) and 17 to become a club member. Family activities and events occur outside of club hours. Only club members may use facility during regular club hours.

Points of Interest

Our Clubs are open five days a week after school and in the summer, when kids have free time and need productive outlets. The DeSoto and Palmetto Clubs are open after-school until 6 p.m. The Daughtrey Elem., Manatee Elem., Oneco Elem. and Rogers Garden/Bullock Elem. programs are open after-school until 6 p.m. The school-based sites are only available to children attending those schools. Our non-school-based Clubs are also open during certain non-school days/holidays and during the summer, typically from 7 a.m.-6 p.m. Please call the Club for more information. Our school-based Clubs are typically open for 6 weeks during the summer from 8:30am - 5:30pm. Please contact our office for further information.
