Program Description

The Teaching Our Toddlers (TOTS) program provides parents of young children with information and resources to support early learning. The everyday experiences of a child in the first three years have a direct impact on overall development; it is at this time in life when most learning occurs and when 85% of the brain structure is developed. A trained home visitor teaches the basics of early development and learning by utilizing the TOTS curriculum designed specifically for young children. Parents receive books, instruction, and a variety of materials to support the activities identified in the curriculum.
