Program Description
*Specialized instructors work directly with infants, toddlers and children up to 12 years old helping to support, educate and measure functional skills for each child. We collaborate with teachers of the visually impaired in the school system with the goal to increase their child's ability to perform skills so they can achieve and maintain self-sufficiency. Summer programs and one on one attention is also available. We also work directly with parents to help them with advocacy rights and overall support in the developmental needs of a child with vision loss.
*Please complete an individual referral form on our website under resource links and contact Irene, our intake coordinator at our main phone number*. Stop by and take a peek at Peepers, our retail store which carries low vision products such as portable video magnifiers, talking watches, audio clocks, cooking aids and many more items designed to assist with everyday tasks for all ages. Our expert staff is on site to assist with hands-on testing of equipment to ensure the right product for your needs.*
