Program Description
The Haven Academy is a private McKay Scholarship school registered with the Florida Department of Education serving students ages 14-22 with a wide range of abilities. The Haven Academy provides functional academics, life skills, vocational skills, and community-based instruction with a low student-to-teacher ratio, so our students reach their academic and personal goals. Instructors use the Unique Learning System; a one-of-a-kind program designed specifically for students with complex learning needs. The Haven Academy accepts McKay and Gardiner scholarships as well as private pay.

We accept students ages 14-22 with developmental or intellectual disability. You must be a Florida resident for a minimum of one year.
