Program Description

Provides emergency assistance and basic needs to individuals/families in crisis and to disaster survivors. Financial assistance in cases of eviction notices for rent and final notices for utilities, pending on availability of funds. Eligibility will be determined. Assistance not guaranteed. Case management is always available through PATHWAY OF HOPE which is an approach to take action to break the cycle of crisis and enable a path out of poverty. Eligibility is based on the desire to change. If funding is available, move-in and/or rental assistance for homeless and at-risk of homelessness families with children under the age of 18.

Services provided to Manatee county residents only. Services prioritized towards families w/minor age children, seniors, and individuals receiving disability. Referrals for utility assistance are given to The Salvation Army by first contacting 211.
