Program Description

Take Stock Manatee is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to defeating poverty through mentoring and post secondary scholarships.

Services Available Through This Program

Community Youth Activities- Mentoring , Job Training/Search , Youth and Adult Education, Literacy, Computer Instruction

We follow the Manatee public school academic calendar. Our office is closed when Manatee public schools are closed.

Eligibility Requirements and Important Information

1. 6th - 9th grade students who qualify under free & reduced lunch program/USDA guidelines 2. Maintain a 2.5 GPA, achieve successful grade promotion and graduation 3. Remain crime & drug free 4. Demonstrate age appropriate behavior 5. Maintain regular attendance 6. Engage in one to one mentoring sessions at a minimum of 2x a month
