Eligibility Requirements and Important Information * Lawton Chiles Children - Family Health Center is a Medicaid Dentist. Lawton Chiles Children - Family Health Center is not a free clinic. Read the services description below to see if you qualify for Medicaid services at this dental office. Accepts patients up to 12 years old. Also speaks spanish. This dental office serves Medicaid patients in MANATEE County. There are occasions when the doctor or location is no longer providing Medicaid Services. This can be due to the number of patients the dentist is currently seeing or Medicaid payment reductions. Please call the Dental office to confirm that they are still seeing Medicaid patients prior to setting your appointment. Medicaid Dental Services Coverages in Florida Children from birth to 20 years old: Preventative, Therapeutic And Emergency Dental Services Are Covered. Adults 21 years old and older: Emergency dental care for the relief of pain and/or infection. Limited to emergency oral examinations, necessary x-rays, extractions, and incision and drainage of abscess. Full and Partial Dentures and services related to receiving the dentures. (There is a 5% co-insurance for dentures & denture related services) Not all dental offices cover this dental work and expenses.
