Program Description

Solve is a faith-based nonprofit organization that provides cost-free maternity housing and support for at-risk women during and after pregnancy. While the blessing of pregnancy usually calls for joyful celebration, for those caught in the cycle of poverty, addiction or abuse, pregnancy is an additional challenge that can lead to abandonment and despair. Since 1976 Solve has been empowering at-risk pregnant women to become confident, capable parents and thriving members of society. By meeting their physical, emotional and spiritual needs, were able to stop the cycle and positively impact future generations. Solve operates four residential homes spread through Manatee and Sarasota counties and each home is staffed by a live-in House Mom who oversees the daily operations of the home and sets a structure of support where residents can flourish. Cost-Free Services Include: Free Pregnancy Tests Residential Housing Case Management Counseling Career and Education Life-skills Development Training includes: Childbirth Preparation, Parenting, Nutrition & Finances Transportation to Medical Appointments Adoption referral services Infant care supplies
