Program Description
T.R.I.P. (Trojan Reading Improvement Program)
T.R.I.P. provides a safe and welcoming environment for children (grades K-3) to develop lifelong interest in and appreciation for reading and learning. We aim to develop and strengthen the reading competence of each youth using evidence-based practices. Through our creative and innovative activities, we endeavor to inspire our youth to push themselves within reason by challenging their mind to do more. We expose them to experiences that create a sense of purpose, ignite their creativity, build character, and self-esteem. Our staff members all have a passion for helping youth be the very best they can be. Our philosophy and approach encourage our youth to take ownership of their actions and strive for excellence in all they do.
