Program Description

This is a free program for ALL Florida 4 year old (by September 1 of the program year) children. A parent needs to first visit the ELC to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility (COE), then the parent can enroll their child in the VPK program of their choice.

The child must be 4 years old on or before September 1 of the program year, and must be a Florida resident. Parents/guardians must have verification of the child's age and Florida residency and apply online through the statewide Family Portal to obtain a Certificate of Eligibility.
