Program Description

LECOM offers cleaning, pediatric dentistry, periodontal treatments, crown & bridge, root canal, extractions, fillings. We offer nitrous for anxiety: parents are allowed in the operatory with the children and we accept Medicaid. Spanish speaking dentist are available. Charity Care and veteran discounts available.

The primary role of the LECOM School of Dental Medicine is the training of dentists. This is a teaching institution and not a private dental office. The care performed by LECOM student-dentists is overseen by LECOM faculty and done in a manner that gives priority to education and quality care. This may result in longer appointments for most treatments than would occur in a private dental office. Treatments will include all general dentistry care that the student-dentists are qualified to perform. Students provide care in a state of the art facility utilizing modern technologies including digital x-ray and electronic health records. The students work under direct supervision of licensed dentists. Each student has a treatment room where they will provide comprehensive dental care services including but not limited to: cleanings, periodontal treatments, crowns, root canal therapy, extractions, dental restorations and full and partial dentures.
